The Babysitters Course

It’s easy if you know the basics!

Learn to prevent injuries and keep yourself and the children safe!

You may just want to start staying home alone!

Participant will learn:

 

Simple techniques for First Aid

 

How to handle emergency situations and what to tell 911

 

Strategies to create a safe and happy environment for children

 

In a fun, interactive environment with other youth aged 10 to 15 yrs.

 

Learn how to deal with choking and breathing emergencies

 

Skills to Foster Positive Interaction with Children of all ages

Course Content:

 

Babysitter’s and Families’ Rights and Responsibilities

Tips for Finding Babysitting Jobs

 

Basic Baby and Child Care Skills

 

How to prepare your very own resume and business cards

 

Child Safety and Injury Prevention

 

Basic First Aid and learn about Sudden Medical Conditions

 

Demonstration on how to use an Epi-Pen and an Inhaler Trainer

Please send your child with

a pen and a doll or a teddy

bear the size of a small

baby, a nut free lunch and

a water bottle. You may

pay in cash the morning of
