Family Day @ the Library

Nothing is more valuable to families than the time they spend together. Monday, February 18th is designated as “Family Day” to celebrate the importance of families and family life. It gives people an opportunity to plan and take part in activities that involve the whole family.

City of Kawartha Lakes Public Library branches, with regularly scheduled hours, will be open on Monday, February 18th.  We invite families to visit their local library and read stories as well as borrow books, magazines, music, or movies. It’s a chance for the whole family to discover something new together.

The following libraries will be open on Monday, February 18th — Bethany, Bobcaygeon, Burnt River, Carden, Coboconk, Dalton, Kirkfield, Lindsay, Little Britain, Omemee, and Woodville. Call the library or check our website for opening hours.

Special drop-in programs will be held at the Little Britain library (705 786-2088), the Lindsay library (705 324-5632) and the Woodville library (705 439-2160). Drop by and participate in crafts, contests, and games. It’s fun for the whole family!
