Music Camps

July 8th – July 12th, 2013 – Woodwind Workshop

July 15th – July 19th, 2013 – Brass Workshop

Location: Kawartha Settlers’ Village; Bobcaygeon, ON

The Bobcaygeon Music Council’s summer brass and woodwind camps are a fabulous opportunity to learn from and to meet professional musicians. During the camp you will:

 experience bucket drumming

 have music lessons

 play in an ensemble

 hear the faculty play

 play games

 participate in a visual art project

This workshop is geared toward students from grade 5 to the high school level who have some experience with a brass or woodwind instrument.


The camp runs Monday to Thursday (9 a.m. to 4 p.m.) and Friday (9 a.m. to 1 p.m). The week will culminate in a student performance on Friday at noon. All activities will take place at Kawartha Settlers’ Village. Each student will bring their own garbage-less lunch, snacks and drinks. All food must be nut-free.
