presents the world music safari adventure show featuring a cast of colourful characters who take the audience on a journey of discovery as they search for “The Button People”. Musical instruments from around the world are featured as well as a cross-section of rhythms and sounds. 2 pm

Getting Started in Backyard Astronomy

with John Crossen, resident astronomer at the Buckhorn Observatory. From books and magazines to binoculars and telescopes, there is lots of information for the young astronomer at 2 pm.


Let’s get to know our feathered friends during our “For the Birds” workshop at 6:30 pm.  From feathers and eggs to feeders and songs.


Wednesday, March 16

Children discover how to use the computer to learn about jungle animals, go on safari and do some fun crafts during our Safari Adventure. Two sessions will be held at 1:30 pm and 3 pm.


Enjoy our St. Patrick’s Day craft program at 6:30 pm


Thursday, March 17


Try your hand at Chinese Brush Painting with local artist Charles Leung at 2 pm.  Age 7 years and up.


Enjoy a hands-on project at our Art Workshop at 6:30 pm for children age 7 years and up.


Friday, March 18

Our young thespians will showcase their talents at our Drama Presentation at 2 pm.
