Parks, Recreation and Culture Division has opened registration for its 2011 Summer Day Camps. This year’s line-up includes NEW programs: Sport & Smash, Girls Sport & Skate, Yoga Camp, Cheer Camp, In the Spotlight Camp, and new Manvers and Woodville camps!

Our ever popular Lindsay Sports Camp and Little Explorers will be running for all eight weeks of the summer. Our Sport & Skate, Sport & Swing, Sport & Scoop, and Sport & Swim are also available for certain weeks of the summer. Sugar and Spice Camp is running for four weeks of the summer.

Is for all the little performers out there; drama, dance, music, singing and more. This camp takes place at the Fleming College in Lindsay (Aug. 8-12) and at the Woodville Town Hall (Aug. 22-26). Participants will attend the fun swim each afternoon (Lindsay), and will attend the weekly trips.Leaders and campers will create their own cheer and dance routines, and campers will learn about teamwork and participate in fitness activities in addition to crafts and games. Participants will attend the fun swim each afternoon, and will attend the weekly trips.This new day camp will explore a variety of wellness activities, games and crafts. Each day campers will participate in a 90 minute yoga session instructed by Karyn Dowdall. Participants will attend the fun swim each afternoon, and will attend the weekly trips. Girls will receive 60 minutes daily on-ice power skating and hockey skill instruction with experienced hockey coach John Johnson Jr. each morning. After they come off the ice campers will participate in sports and games at the Fleming Fieldhouse and join in the fun swim each afternoon. : Campers will receive a two hour daily tennis instruction with a certified OTA instructor. Participants will enjoy a variety of other sports and activities at the Fleming Fieldhouse, and join the fun swim each afternoon.
